Fire Destroys Cochranville Home, Two Hospitalized
COCHRANVILLE, PA — On Sunday morning, a fire and potential explosion ravaged a home in Cochranville, Pennsylvania. Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the 1500 block of Limestone Road around 9:15 a.m., where they encountered heavy smoke from the second floor. Two people inside the residence sustained burn injuries and were airlifted to nearby hospitals, with their identities and conditions currently undisclosed. Investigators have declared the house a total loss, and excavators have since demolished the remaining structure.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — In a continued demonstration of his commitment to community engagement and philanthropy, Jeff D’Ambrosio, owner of the Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group, has made substantial donations to several local educational institutions through the "Fueling our Future" initiative. Emotional Farewell at Cabrini University's Last Commencement
RADNOR, PA — On Sunday, Cabrini University celebrated its final commencement ceremony, bringing an end to its 67-year history. The closure, announced last June, cast a somber tone over the event. Graduates like Danna Harris, Erick Mendieta, and Shannon Straub shared emotional reflections on their time at Cabrini and the profound impact it had on their lives. Harris, a Design Management major, lamented the loss of her alma mater, while Mendieta, a first-generation graduate, cherished the unique opportunities Cabrini provided. Straub, who studied Early Childhood Education with a focus on Special Education, reflected on her transformative college experience during the pandemic.
The ceremony's keynote address was delivered by Kylie Kelce, a 2017 alumna. She highlighted the close-knit community of Cabrini and urged graduates to carry forward the school's legacy. Despite the closure, efforts are underway to preserve Cabrini's legacy, with Villanova University set to take over the campus.
