Eagles Secure Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell in First-Round Pick in NFL Draft

PHILADELPHIA — In the 2024 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles used their 22nd overall pick to draft cornerback Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo, marking a significant selection as their first cornerback picked in the first round since 2002. Mitchell's remarkable athleticism, including a 4.33-second 40-yard dash and 25 bench presses at 225 pounds, made him a standout. Eagles' General Manager Howie Roseman noted that Mitchell's combination of talent and character made him the right choice for the team, emphasizing the importance of strengthening their defensive backfield.

Eagles Set Record with AJ Brown's $96 Million Extension, Highest Ever for an NFL Receiver

PHILADELPHIA — AJ Brown has agreed to a three-year, $96 million contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the highest annual average salary for a wide receiver in NFL history. Over his tenure with the Eagles, Brown has recorded significant stats including 2,952 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns in just two seasons.
