WEST CHESTER — Chester County Prison is still without a permanent warden seven months after the resignation of its former warden, Ronald M. Phillips. Following Phillips' departure, former Downingtown Police Chief Howard Holland was appointed as the interim warden. Although progress has been reported in security upgrades and efforts to fill correctional officer vacancies, the search for a permanent replacement continues. Notably, the prison faced heightened scrutiny after convicted murderer Danelo Cavalcante's escape in August, prompting concerns about security measures.

Annual Cinco De Mayo Bike Ride and Walk Promotes Inclusivity and Wellness in Chester County
