The incident occurred on January 3, with the victim reporting that these encounters typically happened after office hours on Friday evenings. Pennsylvania Prepares for Another Round of Snow: Winter Weather Advisory Issued

Eastern Pennsylvania is under a winter weather advisory as another winter storm approaches. The National Weather Service predicts 1 to 4 inches of snow, with most of the region expected to receive 3-4 inches. Slick road conditions are anticipated, leading to a potentially hazardous commute. The charges include theft, forgery, and receiving stolen property. Westtown police are seeking information on Ward's whereabouts, and anyone with details is encouraged to contact Detective David Hale.

Chopper 6 Crash: Preliminary Report Rules Out Engine Issues

A preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board reveals no engine issues in the fatal crash of Chopper 6. The helicopter, returning from a Christmas lights assignment, crashed in the Wharton State Forest, Washington Township, killing the pilot and photographer. The report states no anomalies affecting engine operation were found, and a final report is expected in the next 18 months.

Four Chester County Men Scheduled for Trial in Violent Kidnapping Case

Four Chester County men—Sincere Brown-Trowery, Steven Durnell “Dog” Carter, Tyrique “Buddy” Joseph, and Stephon Calil “Lil” Taltoan—are facing trial in Common Pleas Court for their alleged involvement in a violent kidnapping of a Coatesville man. The men, currently held on $500,000 bail each, are accused of multiple offenses, including kidnapping, aggravated assault, robbery, false imprisonment, terroristic threats, intimidation of witnesses, and conspiracy.

The charges arise from a February incident where the victim was forcibly taken to a house, subjected to violence, and demanded money and drugs by the kidnappers. The trial, expected to last five days, will feature testimony from the victim and his girlfriend, who reported the crime to Coatesville police.

Chester County secures $307,250 in state grants for outdoor space development, with funds allocated through the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program. East Pikeland Township and Spring City Borough receive grants for Hidden River Park and Preserve Phase 1 and Brown Street Park Accessibility & Safety Improvements, respectively. Phoenixville Borough also benefits from a grant under the Sewage Facilities Program to address sewage disposal needs.

Snowfall Delays Trash and Recycling Collection Around Downingtown

Residents of Downingtown and surrounding townships are advised of a one-day delay in trash and recycling collection following this week's snowfall. The rescheduled collection day is Friday, January 19. To assist in efficient identification, residents are encouraged to clear snow from toter lids. For those who have already placed toters at the curb, it is recommended to leave them there until the rescheduled collection day.
