Wawa Unveils Exton Store: Grand Opening Festivities and Community Engagement

The eagerly awaited Wawa store in Exton, PA, opens its doors on December 14th with grand opening festivities starting at 7:45 a.m. First 100 customers receive exclusive t-shirts, and all enjoy free coffee. The day includes a community toast, a hoagie-building competition for charity, and Wawa's CEO emphasizing community connections. The Exton store brings 50 new jobs, competitive salaries, and innovative services like mobile ordering and catering. It's part of Wawa's broader plan to open 66 new stores in 2023 and expand to multiple states.

Four Arrested in Chester County for Involvement in $133,000 Check Fraud Scheme

Chester County witnesses the arrest of four individuals, notably Miguel A. Vilchis-Nava, linked to a $133,000 check fraud scheme at an undisclosed business in Kennett Square. Vilchis-Nava faces charges related to unlawful activities, theft, and receiving stolen property. The fraudulent check writing occurred between spring 2021 and May 2022, involving multiple employees.

Additionally, Maria De La Luz Vilchis-Nava, Hilda Dominguez-Bastida, and Carla Renteria face charges connected to theft in the same scheme. Meanwhile, other arrests in Chester County include Clemente Salomon-Dominguez, Fernando Beltran-Andrade, Kasandra Torres, and Daniel Rizzolo, facing charges ranging from driving without a license to making terroristic threats and endangering the welfare of children. The arrests took place in various locations, reflecting the diversity of charges.

West Whiteland Police Investigate Suspected Theft at Exton Kohl's

The West Whiteland Township Police Department is actively looking into an alleged theft incident at the Exton Kohl's store. An unidentified black female reportedly entered the store and is suspected of stealing two vacuum cleaners. The individual then left the premises and entered a red Cadillac, where a black male was at the wheel. Authorities are considering the possibility that the suspects may have originated from Baltimore.
