The parade, spanning a 1.7-mile route along Lancaster Avenue, promises a festive showcase of community spirit, featuring local bands, dance groups, scouts, and Santa Claus.

Springton Manor Farm Hosts "Holiday at the Barn" with Craft Market and 2nd Annual Tree Lighting

This Saturday, December 9th, Springton Manor Farm hosts "Holiday at the Barn," a festive event from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM with free admission and parking. The Upper Great Barn features a Holiday Craft Market, and the day's highlight is the 2nd Annual Tree Lighting at 5 PM. Activities include a Candy Cane Hunt, pictures with Santa, Kids Inflatables, live entertainment, and more, providing a day of festive merriment.

Commissioners Present $110,000 Check from Color 5K to COPE Program

The 2023 Chester County Color 5K raises $110,000 for the COPE program in the fight against opioid and heroin addiction. The check was presented by Commissioners to the Deputy Director of the County’s Department of Drug & Alcohol Services. COPE provides 24/7 support to overdose survivors, emphasizing immediate treatment. The Color 5K, initiated by Commissioner Michelle Kichline in 2016, fosters community spirit and has raised nearly $400,000 for the COPE program. Chester County's commitment extends to the Overdose Prevention Task Force and the Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative.
