In the early hours of Wednesday, a lone pilot at Brandywine Regional Airport experienced a distressing episode when attempting takeoff, ultimately leading to a small plane crash. The incident, occurring around 8:50 a.m., saw the aircraft departing the runway and crashing into a ditch on the airport grounds. Despite the severity of the crash, the pilot managed to survive, albeit with facial lacerations and minor injuries.
Emergency responders swiftly transported the injured individual to Paoli Hospital, where they remained conscious throughout the ordeal. As investigations unfold, the circumstances surrounding the crash and the pilot's condition remain uncertain, with authorities at WHP actively probing the incident.

Aqua Pennsylvania Launches Extensive Water Main Replacement in Chester County
Aqua Pennsylvania initiates a substantial infrastructure upgrade in Chester County, replacing 9,500 feet of aging water mains in Tredyffrin and East Goshen townships. The project involves swapping old 8-inch cast iron mains with new, durable ductile iron mains, made mostly from recycled materials. This nationwide effort aims to reduce the risk of main breaks, discolored water, and improve water flow. Specific replacement areas include Yellow Springs Road and Salem Way in Tredyffrin Township, and East Strasburg Road and Springhouse Lane in East Goshen Township.
