Bridging the Digital Divide: Comcast and United Way's Digital Navigator Network Expands
Comcast and the United Way are extending the Digital Navigator Network to residents of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, providing support for internet access and digital skills. The expansion, backed by a $317,000 grant from Comcast's Project UP, aims to bridge the digital divide, with Digital Navigators assisting residents through the 2-1-1 hotline. Comcast's commitment to digital equity includes laptop donations, exclusive Internet deals, and promoting the federal Affordable Connectivity Program. Safety Alert: West Chester Police Investigate Assault by Scam Artist Impersonating Contractor

West Chester Police are investigating a sexual assault case involving a woman targeted by a scam artist posing as a contractor. The imposter, known as "Jimmy," engaged the victim in discussions about home repairs before assaulting her. Two suspects, James McDonagh and John Delaney, were apprehended and face charges. Authorities encourage those with interactions or deposits related to the suspects to contact West Chester Police.

Chester County Verdict: Clifton Heights Resident Convicted in Shooting Incident
John Russell McNeal II, of Clifton Heights, PA, was convicted on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault for firing multiple rounds into a residence in Atglen Borough, Chester County, in January 2022. The incident left two individuals, including a two-year-old child, injured. Following the verdict, McNeal's bail was revoked, and he awaits sentencing in Chester County Prison.
