Chester County Police Officer Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car in Valley Township
In Valley Township, Chester County, a police officer was hit by a car on Friday around 4:07 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Rainbow Road and Front Street while the officer was in the process of administering Narcan.
Details about the circumstances regarding the administration of Narcan and the person receiving it have not been made public. The officer, conscious after the accident, was then transported to Paoli Hospital for medical care. As of the report, there hasn't been an update on the officer's condition.
East Brandywine Tree Lighting Ceremony: Donate and Light the Tree on Dec. 2
An upcoming event, the Tree Lighting Ceremony at East Brandywine Community Park, is scheduled to take place on December 2nd between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The event encourages community members to participate by contributing donations for Toys for Tots or the Lord's Pantry.
Those bringing donations for these causes will have the chance to be part of the ceremonial act of "Flipping the Switch" to illuminate the tree. It's a wonderful opportunity to spread joy and provide support to those in need during the holiday season.

The film portrays the festivity's resilience and community spirit, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the year-long efforts leading to a single night of cathartic celebration. Scheduled for a theatrical run at the Colonial Theatre from November 29 to December 14, 2023, the documentary showcases the festival's folklore origins and the essence of Phoenixville.
