Exton Carnival Shut Down After Violence Erupts

EXTON — The Good Time Amusements Carnival, a seasonal attraction held at Exton Square Mall in Chester County, has been canceled indefinitely after a serious incident involving violent and unruly behavior by a large group of youths. The situation, which unfolded on Saturday night, required police intervention and led to the early closure of the event. Later investigations brought to light an assault on an individual, the details of which were captured in a widely circulated video. Following this incident, local authorities revoked the permit for the carnival, citing the uncontrolled behavior that marked the event. The event organizers, in a public statement, expressed their appreciation for those who attended in the spirit of family fun but confirmed the cancellation of the carnival for the foreseeable future.
