County Board Approves Election Results as Poll Book Investigation Continues

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County commissioners voted 2-1 along party lines to certify November's election results despite an ongoing investigation into a poll book error that left more than 75,000 third-party voters off the rolls. Republican Commissioner Eric Roe dissented, citing concerns about election administration, while Democratic commissioners Maxwell and Moskowitz approved certification. The error forced 12,600 independent voters to cast provisional ballots, and residents voiced strong opposition to certifying results before the investigation concludes. An independent law firm is examining the incident, with findings expected in January.
