What investment is rudimentary for billionaires but ‘revolutionary’ for 70,571+ investors entering 2026?

Imagine this. You open your phone to an alert. It says, “you spent $236,000,000 more this month than you did last month.”

If you were the top bidder at Sotheby’s fall auctions, it could be reality.

Sounds crazy, right? But when the ultra-wealthy spend staggering amounts on blue-chip art, it’s not just for decoration.

The scarcity of these treasured artworks has helped drive their prices, in exceptional cases, to thin-air heights, without moving in lockstep with other asset classes.

The contemporary and post war segments have even outpaced the S&P 500 overall since 1995.*

Now, over 70,000 people have invested $1.2 billion+ across 500 iconic artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.

How? You don’t need Medici money to invest in multimillion dollar artworks with Masterworks.

Thousands of members have gotten annualized net returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% from 26 sales to date.

Chester County Commissioners Face Business Leaders at Annual State of the County Breakfast

WEST CHESTER, PA — At the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry's 2026 State of the County breakfast, the county's three commissioners came face to face with the business community's most pressing concerns. In a panel discussion guided by 6abc Action News anchor Matt O'Donnell, Commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marian Moskowitz and Eric Roe addressed topics ranging from the county's tax and affordability outlook to election integrity and the industries driving economic momentum in the region. The conversation offered a broad look at where Chester County stands heading further into 2026 and the challenges local government is navigating alongside its business partners. Beyond the policy discussion, the morning also offered a moment to celebrate individual contributions to the county. Coatesville City Manager James Logan was presented with the J. Larry Boling Award, while Becky Brain, a long-serving former county public information officer, received the Distinguished Service to Chester County Award — a recognition of careers defined by commitment to the community.

Caln Township Lands More Than $3 Million in Grants to Fund Infrastructure, Safety and Trail Projects

CALN TWP — Since the beginning of 2025, Caln Township has assembled a significant portfolio of grant funding — totaling more than $3 million — that will touch nearly every corner of township operations and infrastructure. The largest award, $1.3 million in state Multimodal Transportation funding, will allow the township to replace a bridge on Caln Meetinghouse Road that required emergency intervention last year. A second transportation grant of $450,000 will bring meaningful safety upgrades to Lincoln Highway, addressing both lighting deficiencies and the need for safer pedestrian and cyclist access along the corridor. Trail connectivity also received a major boost, with two grants totaling over $720,000 directed toward the fifth segment of the Beaver Creek Trail — a project that will eventually stitch together Downingtown Borough and the Lloyd Avenue dog park. The township's public safety fleet will also see modernization on two fronts: a $350,000 state grant will defray half the cost of a new fire apparatus due for delivery in late 2026 or early 2027, while the police department secured nearly $143,000 to add two electric vehicles to its fleet as part of an ongoing sustainability effort. Rounding out the grants are awards supporting sewer infrastructure, environmental meadow restoration and community programming tied to the nation's 250th anniversary celebration.

WCU's Spring Job Fair Reflects a Broader Shift Toward Skills-Based Hiring

WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY — West Chester University's Twardowski Career Development Center is preparing to bring together more than 1,000 students and 130 employers at the university's annual Job & Internship Fair on February 25. The event comes at a moment of meaningful change in the hiring landscape, as skills-based recruiting — now used by approximately 70 percent of employers — continues to reshape how companies identify and evaluate candidates. Rather than leaning on degrees or titles alone, employers are increasingly looking for evidence of practical, transferable skills: the ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, work within a team and demonstrate initiative. For WCU students who have developed those qualities through their coursework, part-time jobs and extracurricular activities, the shift opens doors that might once have seemed harder to reach. The Career Development Center has been working to ensure students arrive at the fair confident and prepared, offering everything from free professional clothing to a digital mock-interview platform that students and professors alike have embraced. On the day of the fair, the environment will be structured to support students of all comfort levels, with quiet areas, sensory accommodations and alumni on hand to coach those who need a last-minute boost before stepping onto the floor.
