Four Unclaimed Veterans to Receive Military Honors in Chester County Ceremony

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Coroner’s Office will hold a public ceremony on October 30 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery to honor four unclaimed veterans with full military honors. The veterans—representing the Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard—died in Chester County and had no next of kin. Their remains will be escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders and interred in columbaria engraved with “Proudly Served.” The Pennsylvania Military Honors team will present flags, perform a rifle salute, and play live Taps. The ceremony is part of a broader commitment to ensure all veterans receive the recognition and respect they are due, regardless of their circumstances. CALN TWP — Caln Township has unveiled two new public exhibits in its municipal lobby. Pumpkin Luminaries Light the Way at Chambers Lake This Friday

COATESVILLE, PA — As part of Chester County’s two-day Pumpkin Palooza celebration, Chambers Lake will host a Luminary Night Hike this Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The trail along the water will be illuminated by hundreds of glowing pumpkin luminaries, offering a seasonal and scenic stroll for families and visitors.
