PennDOT Schedules Two-Week Sinkhole Repair Project on U.S. 30
CALN TWP — PennDOT will conduct sinkhole repairs on U.S. Route 30 in Chester County from November 10-21, causing weekday lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work affects both directions of traffic between Route 100 and U.S. Business 30. Motorists traveling through the area during midday hours should expect delays and plan accordingly.
Chester County Sets Timeline for Election Error Investigation
WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County election officials have outlined a timeline for investigating an Election Day error that omitted 75,076 third-party voters from poll books. An independent investigator will be named by November 17, with findings expected in December or January. The error forced more than 12,100 voters to cast provisional ballots, which are currently being reviewed and counted. Nature's A-Glow Returns to Springton Manor Farm This Season
GLENMOORE, PA — Chester County Parks and Preservation will host Nature's A-Glow, a luminary holiday stroll at Springton Manor Farm. The two-hour evening event features hundreds of glowing luminaries lighting pathways across the historic farm property. The walk is open to the public and organized in partnership with the Friends of Springton Manor Farm, offering a festive outdoor experience during the winter season.
Free Concert at West Chester University Features Works on Change and Reinvention
WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester University's Symphony Orchestra will perform Simply Transformational on November 15 at 7:30 p.m., exploring musical depictions of change through works by Dukas, Tchaikovsky, and Hindemith. The free concert at the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre features The Sorcerer's Apprentice, movements from Sleeping Beauty, and Symphonic Metamorphosis. The performance will also stream online, with no tickets required.
