Cardiologists: Try This Sugar Trick For Looser Pants Fast

Township Reverses Course on Historic Home After Relocation Costs Spike 54 Percent

WEST BRADFORD TWP — West Bradford Township has abandoned plans to relocate a historic early-20th-century home at 1401 Marshallton Thorndale Road after contractor bids pushed the cost of moving the structure to nearly $600,000 — a 54 percent jump from early estimates. The home, believed to be a Sears catalog house, sits in the path of a planned $4 million roundabout at Marshallton Thorndale and Poorhouse Road. The township, which purchased the full five-acre property for $790,000 rather than pay nearly as much for just a quarter-acre, now plans to demolish the house, subdivide part of the land into residential lots for resale, and retain an industrial parcel near the new roundabout.
