COATESVILLE, PA — John Lymberis, the 57-year-old owner of Harry's Hotdogs and several other Sadsbury and Coatesville businesses, was arrested Wednesday on 24 charges tied to possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material. Chester County prosecutors allege he used the KIK app to share illicit images of girls and employed artificial intelligence to generate sexualized depictions of minors, including from photos he had personally taken. He was released on $3,500 bail and is due back in court on June 8.

EXTON, PA — West Whiteland police are investigating a retail theft that took place Tuesday at the Ulta Beauty store on Swedesford Road in Exton. Authorities have released surveillance images of two suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Higgins at 610-363-0200, ext. 1008, or [email protected].

UPPER UWCHLAN TWP — Upper Uwchlan Township is inviting residents to a public open house on June 1 to learn about and offer feedback on the Village of Eagle Gateways and Mobility Plan. The study focuses on traffic operations, roadway safety and multimodal access along Pottstown Pike (Pennsylvania Route 100) and Graphite Mine Road, a corridor that has seen mounting pressure from regional growth.

The open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Upland Farm Barn, 301 Pottstown Pike in Chester Springs, with a formal presentation scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to speak directly with members of the project team about current conditions, planned improvements and considerations for pedestrians and cyclists.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Downingtown Borough has announced a holiday closure and an updated seasonal schedule for its municipal offices. Administrative offices will close at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, and remain closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Operations will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

Beginning that day, the borough will move into its summer schedule, which will remain in place through Friday, September 4. Administrative offices will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The Code Enforcement Office will follow an earlier shift, opening at 7 a.m. and closing at 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Friday hours running from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
