“No Kings” Protester Caught With Firearms Pleads Guilty in Bomb Case

WEST CHESTER, PA — A Malvern man pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing an unregistered destructive device after being arrested armed near a West Chester protest in June. Kevin Krebs was found carrying a concealed handgun, knife, and other items near a demonstration against Trump administration policies. Authorities later discovered more than a dozen improvised explosives at his home. He faces up to 10 years in prison at his March sentencing.

Rabies Testing Lab to Close for Three Months Starting January

EXTON, PA — Pennsylvania's rabies testing laboratory in Exton will be closed from January 1 through April 6, 2026. Uwchlan Township officials advise residents who encounter potentially rabid wildlife, such as bats, in their homes not to bring animals to the facility during this period. Instead, they should contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission at 1-833-PGC-WILD for assistance with animal removal and testing.

Trader Joe's Cited for Temperature Violations, Equipment Failures

EXTON, PA — County health inspectors cited a Trader Joe's in Exton for five food safety violations during a December 15 inspection. The most serious issue involved perishable foods stored at unsafe temperatures between 48 and 52 degrees in malfunctioning refrigeration units. Staff discarded the affected items. Inspectors also found improper equipment use, missing signage, and unsuitable surfaces in the store's demonstration room.

West Whiteland Police Seek Help Identifying Wawa Theft Suspect

WEST WHITELAND TWP — The West Whiteland Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an alleged retail theft at a Wawa convenience store in Exton.

Authorities released a photograph of an individual they believe is involved in the incident at the store located at 401 West Lincoln Highway. Police did not disclose specific details about what was taken or the date of the alleged theft.

Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the person in the image or possesses information related to the case to contact Patrolman Kyle O'Brien. Tips can be submitted by calling the West Whiteland Police Department at (610) 363-0200 or via email at [email protected].Share the newsletter
