Chester County Prison Leaders Complete FBI Leadership Program

WEST CHESTER, PA — Senior staff at Chester County Prison have finished the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association's Trilogy, a leadership training sequence made up of the Supervisor, Command and Executive Leadership Institutes. The curriculum emphasizes ethical decision-making, organizational leadership, communication and long-term planning for public safety agencies, and it is widely regarded as a leading professional credential in law enforcement and corrections.

Acting Warden Brian Sheller framed the milestone as part of the facility's effort to develop its leaders and better serve both inmates and the wider community. The program is also being extended to mid-level supervisors, with more than 25 corporals, sergeants and lieutenants expected to complete it by the end of the year.

Little Conestoga Road Closing May 4 for Turnpike Work

UPPER UWCHLAN TWP — A section of Little Conestoga Road in Upper Uwchlan Township will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, May 4, 2026, to allow for work on the Pennsylvania Turnpike overpass above the roadway. The closure, which is expected to last about 30 days, has been approved through a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation permit and will affect the stretch of road between Green Valley Road and Dominic Drive.

The work is being carried out by contractors for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and the road will remain closed 24 hours a day for the duration of the project.
