Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts

Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.

Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.

Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.

One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.

It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.

Why?

  1. Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025

  2. Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since β€˜95.*

  3. Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.

Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.

Flood Season Readiness: Chester County Health Department Debuts New Preparedness Page

WEST CHESTER, PA β€” County officials have unveiled a dedicated flood resource webpage designed to give residents a single destination for understanding their flood risk and knowing how to respond. The launch comes as flooding remains the county's most common and consequential natural hazard, driven primarily by heavy rain and snowmelt.

The site outlines four flood risk categories. High-risk zones carry a one-in-100 annual flood probability β€” equivalent to a one-in-four chance over a 30-year mortgage β€” and require flood insurance for property owners with a mortgage. Moderate- and low-risk zones carry optional but recommended coverage, while some areas remain unclassified. Residents can verify their property's zone through FEMA's Map Service Center online.

The resource page also demystifies the three-tiered alert system. A flood watch means conditions are ripe for flooding and residents should prepare supplies and charge devices. A flood warning signals that flooding is happening or about to happen, calling for immediate caution β€” particularly around vehicles, since just six inches of water can stall a car and twelve inches can sweep it away entirely. A flash flood warning is the most critical alert, indicating dangerous flooding that may develop with little notice, requiring immediate evacuation to higher ground.

Recovery resources, available in both English and Spanish, cover next steps for residents affected by floods. The page also links to the county's Division of Emergency Management, the Human Needs Network, and mental health support services. The full page is accessible at chesco.org/5990/Flooding.

From Flooding to Traffic: Chester County Surveys Residents on Environmental Priorities

WEST CHESTER, PA β€” The Chester County Planning Commission has released a Climate Action survey designed to capture community input on the environmental stressors residents are most worried about β€” and what they believe local government should prioritize in response. The effort reflects a broader push by county leadership to develop climate strategies that are grounded in the lived experiences of the people they serve.

The survey is open to anyone with a connection to Chester County, whether as a resident, employee, or regular visitor. Responses will be used to inform how the county moves forward on climate planning and community resilience efforts.

Residents can complete the survey at surveymonkey.com/r/ChesCoClimateSurvey2.
