Agents Don't Need Databases. They Need Scratchpads.

Agents work differently than humans. They spin up an idea, try it, throw it away. They don't need a database they'll maintain forever. They need a scratchpad.

ghost gives every agent task its own Postgres database. Fork production in 58ms. Same schema, same data, fully isolated. Run the risky query. Test the migration. Let the agent do whatever it needs. When the task is done, delete it. Nothing bleeds into the next task.

No project limits. No shared staging database where one agent's migration breaks everyone else's queries. No cron jobs cleaning up stale instances. No naming conventions that nobody follows.

Each fork is a full database. Each one costs nothing when idle. 100 hours/month free. 1TB storage. No credit card.

Eagles Prompt New Fireworks Site, New Rules for Johnsontown Residents

DOWNINGTOWN, PA โ€” Ahead of Downingtown's Fourth of July celebration, borough officials have notified Johnsontown residents of changes to this year's Good Neighbor Day fireworks display. The launch site has been moved nearer to the neighborhood after the Pennsylvania Game Commission approved the relocation as a way to protect bald eagles nesting in Kerr Park while preserving the borough's annual fireworks tradition.

The shift brings several practical changes for residents. Viaduct Avenue and Bradford Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic into and out of Johnsontown during the fireworks show, reopening only once public safety officials deem it safe. Kerr Park continues to serve as the borough's sole designated public viewing site, and no parking or spectator areas will be available near the new launch location or within Johnsontown.

Officials also cautioned that residents living closest to the relocated site should brace for a busier evening overall, including increased pedestrian and vehicle activity beforehand, fireworks that may sound noticeably louder due to their proximity, and an expanded public safety presence to manage the temporary restrictions.

The announcement struck a celebratory note as well, marking not just Independence Day but the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding, while thanking residents for their cooperation in balancing the holiday tradition with the protection of local wildlife.

World's Largest Steam Locomotive Rolls Into the Region This Week

READING, PA โ€” Union Pacific's "Big Boy," the world's largest operating steam locomotive, is passing through the Philadelphia region this week as part of a nationwide tour. After brief stops in Reading and Pottstown, it will arrive at the Navy Yard for free public viewing on July 4 and 5. The visit has drawn large crowds and inspired a local fundraiser by the Gladwyne VFW, which is using nearby parking spots to help rebuild a hall destroyed by Hurricane Ida.
