Downingtown's Dr. Arianne Missimer Featured on Women Fitness Cover

DOWNINGTOWN, PA β A Downingtown-based wellness professional has achieved national prominence with a cover feature in Women Fitness magazine's December 2025 edition. Dr. Arianne Missimer, who operates The Movement Paradigm, was chosen to headline the publication's year-end issue, which emphasizes resilience and comprehensive approaches to health.
Missimer's feature centers on her philosophy regarding the body's inherent healing abilities and her methods for helping individuals build mental and physical strength through movement-based practices. Her approach distinguishes itself from traditional fitness programs by incorporating broader lifestyle factors and emphasizing sustainable, long-term health outcomes rather than short-term results.
The December issue includes Missimer's perspectives on redefining wellness beyond conventional exercise routines. Her work has gained recognition for connecting physical fitness with emotional resilience and mental well-being, offering women alternative frameworks for approaching their health goals.
West Pikeland Raffle to Support Pine Creek Park Playground

WEST PIKELAND TWP β West Pikeland Township is launching a community fundraising effort this Friday with a raffle designed to support the construction of a new playground at Pine Creek Park. The Parks and Recreation Committee will conduct the raffle during the township's Holiday Stroll on December 12, setting up outside the Art Studio.
The raffle centers on a collection of Department 56 collectible houses, specialty items that have been donated to the cause by Township Supervisor Tom McLewee. These decorative pieces, popular among collectors, will serve as prizes to incentivize community participation in the playground funding initiative.
Tickets are priced at $2 individually, with a bulk option offering 25 tickets for $20, making it accessible for residents who wish to increase their chances of winning while supporting the project. Every dollar raised will be allocated directly to the Pine Creek Park playground fund.
