Surgery Recovery Starts Before Surgery
Many patients prepare extensively for the procedure itself โ but recovery preparation often gets overlooked.
Healing increases demand for nutrients involved in tissue repair, immune support, collagen production, and recovery. HealFast was designed specifically to support the body before and after surgery with physician-formulated nutritional support created for the recovery process.
Instead of scrambling afterward, many patients now prepare for recovery before surgery even happens.
Because supporting recovery starts long before the procedure is over.

Caln Township Seeks Community Input on Lincoln Highway Redesign

CALN TWP โ Transportation planners, local officials, and community members are set to gather on June 15 for a public open house focused on the future of the Lincoln Highway/Business Route 30 corridor in Caln Township. Hosted by the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC), Caln Township, and urban planning firm Toole Design โ with support from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission โ the free event runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Caln Township Building, 253 Municipal Drive, Thorndale.
The open house will give residents, business owners, and commuters the chance to view preliminary design concepts aimed at improving safety, mobility, and overall conditions along the corridor, as well as ask questions and provide direct feedback to the project team.
Caln Township's First Dumpster Day Draws a Crowd

CALN TWP โ Dumpster Day, held May 9, gave residents a sanctioned outlet for disposing of unwanted household items and electronic waste โ and they showed up in force, rain and all.
By the close of the event, the numbers told the story: approximately 24.6 tons of general trash and 5 tons of e-waste had been hauled away for proper disposal and recycling. Whitetail Disposal supplied the logistical muscle, including crews, trucks, dumpsters, and hauling services. Township Public Works employees worked alongside residents to unload vehicles, while the Police Department handled traffic management throughout the morning.
Natural Wonders of Our Backyards Program Puts Local Ecology and Wildlife in the Spotlight

GLENMOORE, PA โ Chester County's natural landscape will take center stage on the morning of June 13, when Echo Dell Nature Conservancy and the Friends of Springton Manor Farm team up for a free community program exploring local ecology and wildlife. Running from 10 to 11 a.m., the event is designed for residents who want to learn more about the plants, animals, and ecosystems that make up their own backyard โ no prior expertise required.
The program will include a showcase of local wildlife photography alongside a guided discussion of Chester County's ecological character. All attendees will be entered to win a door prize. The event is free and open to the public, with advance registration requested online at https://ow.ly/wvXX50Z5gpk.
Three Centuries of History Await at the Old Caln Meeting House

CALN TWP โ Three centuries after its founding, the Old Caln Meeting House is inviting the public in for a closer look. Caln Township is hosting a guided tour of the 1726 Quaker landmark at 901 Caln Meetinghouse Road in Coatesville as part of its ongoing Town Tours and Village Walks series โ and with the meetinghouse marking its 300th year, the timing carries particular weight.
The tour is designed to bring the site's long history to life, tracing the stories of the Chester County Quakers who gathered there across generations and situating the meetinghouse within the wider arc of American history. From its earliest days as a place of worship to its role as a source of stability during periods of national conflict, the building has served the community in ways that go well beyond its walls.
