Multiple Charges Filed in Exton Burglary Case
EXTON, PA — Authorities in West Whiteland twp have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with an alleged burglary in Exton. Police detained the suspect on December 16, 2024, at a property at 312 East Lincoln Highway, where officers responded to a reported break-in. The individual now faces multiple charges, among them burglary, criminal trespass, and theft by unlawful taking. While specifics of the incident remain unclear, law enforcement officials indicate that the investigation continues, and any information regarding recovered items has yet to be disclosed.
Caln Township Announces Winners of Annual Christmas Decoration Contest
CALN TWP — Caln Township hosted its annual House Decorating Contest, drawing numerous festive displays and creative holiday designs. Residents across the township took part, and winners were named in categories such as Classic Holiday, Best Use of Lights, and more. Organizers expressed appreciation for the community’s participation and noted that the event was again sponsored by Hatt’s Hardware Store. This year's winners are:

West Bradford Township Names 2024 Holiday House Decorating Winners
WEST BRADFORD TWP — West Bradford Township revealed the victors of its 2024 Holiday House Decorating Contest, recognizing three decorated homes that received the highest number of votes from local residents. Gift certificates will soon be delivered to 1427 Manorwood Drive, 1229 Telegraph Road, and 1448 W. Strasburg Road, honoring their standout displays and festive creativity.
Downingtown Introduces Updated Trash and Recycling Procedures for 2025
DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Downingtown Borough’s new trash and recycling contract with Whitetail Disposal LLC takes effect on January 1, 2025, keeping weekly collection on Thursdays but shifting the first pickup of the year to Friday, January 3. Bulk items will still be collected on the last Thursday of each month, though residents must schedule in advance with the hauler. Missed service reports should be directed to Whitetail Disposal.
