Gunfire Reported During Kohl’s Robbery Attempt in Montgomery County

LIMERICK TWP — Authorities in Montgomery County are investigating an attempted robbery at a Kohl’s department store in Royersford late Sunday evening. Officials received a report of the incident shortly after 8 p.m., prompting an immediate response from law enforcement. Reports on social media described gunfire during the episode, while shoppers sought cover within the aisles and back areas of the store. Two suspects have been taken into custody, and officials have stated there is no danger to the public. The investigation remains ongoing.
