Chester County’s First-Ever Sign Recycling Event Sets a New Standard

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Chester County launched its first campaign sign recycling initiative earlier this fall, led by Keep Chester County Beautiful in collaboration with local municipalities and a regional landfill. The event ran from November 6 to November 18, during which residents dropped off campaign and yard signs at designated sites for responsible disposal. The collection yielded approximately 1,000 pounds of metal from sign frames and hundreds of pounds of plastic material, greatly reducing landfill waste and improving the appearance of local roadsides.

West Chester Police Investigate Stolen Audi in Neighborhood Theft

WEST CHESTER, PA — A dark grey Audi was reported stolen on December 19 from a rear driveway on West Miner Street in West Chester, setting in motion a police investigation to locate both the vehicle and any possible suspects. The car, bearing Pennsylvania license plate MRH-7973, was last observed near Township Line Road and Route 3 around 7:45 a.m. Authorities are following all available leads in an effort to resolve the case, and they invite community members to provide any information that could assist their inquiries.

Generous Donations Fuel Holiday Cheer in West Bradford Toy Drive

WEST BRADFORD TWP — In West Bradford Township, a collaborative spirit emerged this holiday season as the township concluded a successful toy drive benefiting local children. The initiative invited residents to donate toys for distribution to families who could use extra support. By pooling resources from across the community, the program collected an impressive range of items to be given out in time for the festivities. Township officials praised participants for their generosity, noting that the project’s positive outcome underscores the community’s commitment to looking after its neighbors.
