Mysterious Low-Flying Drones Prompt Concern Across Chester County

DOWNINGTOWN, PA β€” Last night, residents across Chester County have reported sightings of large drones flying at low altitudes, prompting a series of inquiries to local law enforcement. The drones, sometimes observed in clusters, appear to be larger than standard consumer models, raising questions about their purpose and origin.

Law enforcement agencies throughout the county have acknowledged an increase in calls, though the source of these drones remains unclear. Similar sightings have been reported in neighboring states, including recent incidents in New Jersey.

Officials have encouraged the public to avoid stopping on roadways to observe or record the drones, emphasizing the importance of safety. Concerns about potentially dangerous activity can be directed to federal authorities

Early Morning Fire Damages Former Boston Market in West Goshen

WEST CHESTER, PA β€” Early Thursday morning, a fire caused substantial interior damage to a former Boston Market restaurant on East Gay Street in West Goshen. Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames, using multiple hose lines to extinguish the blaze and searching the building to ensure it was unoccupied. Within approximately half an hour, the fire was under control, and no injuries were reported.

Multi-Vehicle Accident Ends with Pickup Truck on Minivan

WEST CHESTER, PA β€” A multi-vehicle collision on Westtown Road in West Chester led to a striking sight: a pickup truck resting atop a minivan. Local authorities, who documented the scene, have not yet disclosed the events leading up to the incident or whether anyone was harmed. The cleanup was notable, as a crane crew, already en route to another location, arrived on the scene and assisted in removing the truck from the crushed minivan.

Though officials have not shared further information about the collision, the unusual arrangement of the vehicles and the swift intervention of the crane operators captured public attention. It remains unclear if any charges or further actions will be taken.
