COATESVILLE, PA — On Sunday, December 15, the Episcopal Church of the Trinity in Coatesville will host a Holiday Pop-Up Shop organized by "Speak Those Things" and "Christ Centered Creations." Running from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event will feature a wide selection of products from local artisans and small businesses, including wreaths, ornaments, jewelry, candles, apparel, custom gifts, and body care products. Visitors can also enjoy food and desserts while shopping for unique holiday items. Located at 323 E. Lincoln Highway, the pop-up shop offers a festive way to support the local business community during the holiday season.

Upper Uwchlan Steps Up for Toys for Tots Campaign

UPPER UWCHLAN TWP — This holiday season, Upper Uwchlan Township staff extended their support for the Marine Toys for Tots program by volunteering at the local warehouse. In addition to serving as a collection site for donations in Chester and Montgomery Counties, the team helped sort toys by age and pack them for families and nonprofit organizations. Their efforts highlight the township's dedication to ensuring local children experience the joy of the holidays. By taking an active role in distributing these gifts, the staff embodied the spirit of giving and community support, creating brighter holidays for families in need.

Hopewell Church Honors Veterans with Wreaths Across America Ceremony

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Hopewell Church in Downingtown will mark its 11th year participating in Wreaths Across America, a program dedicated to honoring veterans nationwide during the holiday season. The event begins with a formal ceremony in the church sanctuary, where veterans and active-duty service members will present eight ceremonial wreaths. Following the service, wreaths will be laid on the graves of 345 veterans in the nearby Hopewell Cemetery, spanning service eras from the Revolutionary War to the Persian Gulf. Located at 852 Hopewell Road, the event reflects the church’s commitment to ensuring no veteran is forgotten. The ceremony will also be livestreamed, inviting community members near and far to join in honoring those who served.
