Tree Lighting Celebrations Spread Holiday Cheer Across The Area

DOWNINGTOWN, PA ā€” The holiday season kicks off in Downingtown and neighboring communities with tree-lighting celebrations on Saturday, November 30. Downingtownā€™s event offers family fun with games, crafts, and refreshments, while Santaā€™s arrival delights young attendees. East Brandywineā€™s ceremony at Community Park includes ornament-making, caroling, and a chance to win the honor of flipping the tree-lighting switch by donating to the Lordā€™s Pantry or Toys for Tots. In Upper Uwchlan, the historic barn at Upland Farm will glow with twinkling lights as guests enjoy live music, hot cocoa, and holiday treats. Each event blends festive cheer with opportunities to give back, making them perfect for families and holiday enthusiasts alike.

Dazzling Lights and Heartfelt Giving Define the Corrado Christmas Tradition

The Corradoā€™s Christmas Light Display, 1102 Nobb Hill Drive

EAST BRADFORD TWP ā€” In East Bradford, the Corrado family transforms their home into a holiday wonderland, featuring thousands of lights and inflatables. This cherished tradition, started in 2000 by cancer survivor Jerry Corrado, has evolved into a community-wide event supporting Chester County Hospitalā€™s pediatric unit and other local charities. Each year, over 5,000 toys and other essentials are donated, bringing joy to families in need. Jerryā€™s dedication to the display and his love for sharing holiday cheer have made 1102 Nobb Hill Drive a must-visit destination. The lights, which are on through January 6, celebrate both the season and the power of giving.
