East Coast’s First World-Class Velodrome Coming to Coatesville

COATESVILLE, PA — Coatesville is moving forward with the construction of the National Sports & Events Center (NSEC), a 24-acre complex featuring the East Coast’s first world-class velodrome. Designed to host up to 3,000 spectators, the NSEC is anticipated to bring a major boost to the local economy, providing jobs and supporting local businesses. The venue will also serve as a platform for youth sports and cycling programs, with events ranging from concerts to expos. Funded by a mix of public and private resources, including state grants, the project aims to open by 2028, offering year-round community and sports programming and establishing Coatesville as a regional destination.

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester University hosted an unexpected political dialogue as over 2,500 students and locals gathered for a “Prove Me Wrong” event with former Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Organized by Turning Point USA, the event offered an open forum where attendees—spanning from Trump supporters to undecided and Democratic students—engaged with Ramaswamy in a two-hour question-and-answer session. As students listened, debated, and questioned, the event underscored a growing appetite for open political conversation ahead of the 2024 election.

Caln Township Wraps Up Final Cleanup of the Year on Lincoln Highway

CALN TWP — The #CalnCleanUpCrew in Caln Township wrapped up its last cleanup of the year along Lincoln Highway, drawing residents together to clear litter and improve the local environment. This event marked the close of a successful season for the volunteer-led crew, which has held multiple cleanup events throughout the year to enhance public spaces. Organizers expressed gratitude to the community for its support and plan to expand the initiative in the upcoming year, inviting even more locals to participate in keeping Caln beautiful.
