Police Investigate Dual Tragedy: Second Chester County Murder-Suicide Reported
EAST GOSHEN TWP — Chester County authorities are investigating a murder-suicide involving a father and son in East Goshen Township, the second of such incidents reported in the county on Thursday. Police and county detectives were alerted late Thursday night, and while no firearms were involved, further details, including identities and location, have not been released. This follows another Thursday incident at an East Coventry care facility. Both cases remain under investigation, with authorities encouraging anyone with information to contact Westtown East Goshen Police.

West Bradford Township Secures $500k for Critical Wastewater Enhancements
WEST BRADFORD TWP — West Bradford Township recently received a $500,000 grant from Pennsylvania’s Local Share Account (LSA), designated for infrastructure upgrades to its wastewater treatment facilities at the Dupont Plant. The improvements are set to enhance the township’s wastewater management systems, reinforcing the local infrastructure and meeting essential needs for residents and businesses.
Chester County Food Bank Honors Founder's Legacy with Garden Dedication
EXTON, PA — The Chester County Food Bank recently dedicated the McNeil Garden at its Exton headquarters, honoring Bob McNeil, who was instrumental in establishing the organization in 2009. Surrounded by his family, friends, and longtime supporters, attendees gathered to reflect on McNeil’s legacy as a leader and advocate for those facing food insecurity in Chester County. The dedication included unveiling a bench within the garden, symbolizing McNeil’s enduring impact on the community he cherished. The Chester County Food Bank, which last year distributed over 4.6 million pounds of food, continues to build on McNeil’s vision and commitment to nourishing neighbors in need..
