WEST BRADFORD TWP — On July 12, 2024, West Bradford Township celebrated the closure of the Embreeville real estate transaction, concluding a complex and lengthy process that included litigation, negotiation, remediation, and demolition. This significant achievement is a pivotal moment for both Embreeville and the township. Although the site is currently closed to the public for safety assessments and corrections, the soccer and baseball fields will continue to be accessible. Celebrate Summer with Ice Cream and Music at Martin's Tavern

MARSHALLTON VILLAGE — The Friends of Martin's Tavern are inviting the community to their annual Ice Cream Social this weekend in West Bradford Township. Scheduled for July 14th from 1 to 4 p.m., the event will be held at the historic Martin's Tavern. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including homemade ice cream, live music, face painting, and an engaging history talk about the tavern's past.

Uwchlan Garden Club Joins Effort to Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful

UWCHLAN TWP — In an effort to maintain the scenic beauty of local roads, the Uwchlan Garden Club has enlisted Uwchlan Township's support to participate in the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Land Stewards program. This initiative targets 5 N. Village Ave, aiming to reduce litter and foster community pride. A recognition sign, installed near the historic Uwchlan Meeting House, symbolizes this commitment. The Uwchlan Garden Club will organize two litter clean-up events each year, with the first successful event held on July 9th. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful provides cleanup supplies, safety protocols, and online reporting tools to support these efforts. Uwchlan Township has also assisted with sign installation and trash disposal.

Exton Park Community Day Set for Saturday, Weather Permitting

EXTON, PA - Exton Park Community Day is slated for Saturday, running from 4 to 10 p.m., contingent on favorable weather conditions. Should the weather prove unfavorable, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 14. The decision will be announced on Saturday through Facebook and the West Whiteland Township website.

In preparation for the event, Church Farm Lane and the Chester Valley Trail trailhead off Church Farm Lane will be closed throughout the day on Saturday. Attendees are advised to utilize parking at Valley Creek Corporate Center. The community is hopeful for good weather and a successful event filled with various activities and entertainment.
