Golf Outing at Honey Brook Tees Up Another Year of Park Fundraising

EAST BRANDYWINE TWP โ East Brandywine's parks will get a boost this spring thanks to the returning "Fore the Park" Golf Outing, set for Wednesday, May 20 at Honey Brook Golf Club. The scramble-format event tees off at 8 a.m. and wraps up with a catered lunch at noon.
At $150 per person, registration covers greens fees, range access, snacks, beverages, lunch and a goodie bag. Prizes will be handed out for the longest drive, closest to the pin and the top-finishing foursome. Organizers Sandy Lammey and Dave Summers are encouraging both individual golfers and local businesses to participate โ whether by registering a group of up to four players, taking on a sponsorship, or donating a door prize. Uwchlan Township Launches Interactive Survey to Guide New Pedestrian and Bike Infrastructure Plan

UWCHLAN TWP โ Uwchlan Township has taken the first step toward building an Active Transportation Plan โ a long-range effort to improve how residents walk, bike and get around without a car. Before any formal planning begins, officials are asking the public to help shape the process.
Using an interactive map, residents can identify what's working, flag unsafe or inconvenient spots and propose new routes or connections. The feedback will directly inform the plan, which is expected to guide future decisions on sidewalks, bike infrastructure and pedestrian access across the township. The map is available online here, and takes just a few minutes to complete.
Wallace Township Calls on Residents to Help Spruce Up Burgess Park

WALLACE TWP โ Wallace Township's Environmental Advisory Council is bringing the community together for its annual Spring Clean Up Day on April 1, with a three-hour volunteer session at Burgess Park running from 9 a.m. to noon.
Conducted in partnership with Keep Chester County Beautiful and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, the event is part of a broader statewide push for community-led environmental stewardship. All cleanup supplies will be on hand, and families are welcome โ children must be accompanied by an adult. With no rain date scheduled, attendance depends on weather conditions. Reach organizers at [email protected] or 610-883-7142 with any questions.
