Your Dog Deserves Better Than Mystery Kibble

Most kibble is cooked at extreme temperatures that strip out the nutrients your dog actually needs. Your dog deserves better than that.

Spot & Tango's UnKibble is the only human-grade dog food that delivers all the benefits of fresh food without taking up fridge space. Made with USDA-grade meats, plus fresh fruits and vegetables, then gently dried at low temps to lock in up to 99% of nutrients. As vets say: "This is the food dogs were born to eat."

It's pantry-friendly, delivered to your door, and comes with a personalized scoop sized to your dog's exact needs. No guesswork, no prep, no refrigeration.

350,000+ dog parents have already made the switch — and 87% saw health improvements in their pup after switching.

Bubble Walk Returns to West Chester This Sunday for 23rd Year

WEST CHESTER, PA — he Arc of Chester County will hold its 23rd annual Bubble Walk & Fun Day this Sunday, May 17, at West Goshen Community Park, 1023 Fern Hill Road, in West Chester. Running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event opens with a one-mile community walk and continues with an afternoon of activities aimed at all ages, including a DJ, face painting, balloon art, games, prizes, BINGO, and food.

The Bubble Walk is the organization's signature fundraiser, generating revenue that supports advocacy, education, and direct services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Because much of the Arc's programming is not covered by traditional funding sources, community-driven events like this one play a substantial role in sustaining its operations throughout the year.

Organizers are encouraging residents to join as walkers, volunteers, sponsors, or simply as spectators, and have set their sights on making the 2026 event the largest in the program's history. Registration remains open at arcofchestercounty.org.

Exton to Host Native Species Day on Saturday With Plant Giveaway and Family Activities

EXTON, PA — A free community event celebrating Pennsylvania's native plants will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 715 North Ship Road in Exton. Organized by the local Environmental Advisory Council, Pennsylvania Native Species Day will offer an educational talk on the importance of native flora to the region's ecosystems, along with a giveaway of trees and plants for attendees to take home.

East Brandywine to Host Talk on Local Barns and Rural Preservation

EAST BRANDYWINE TWP — The East Brandywine Township Historical Commission will host its next Speaker Series program on Sunday, May 17, at 3 p.m., featuring a presentation titled "Barns of East Brandywine and Reflections on Preserving Rural Historic Landscapes." Doug Rotondo will lead the main portion of the event, taking attendees on a visual tour of barns throughout the township and surrounding area using photographs sourced from township archives and historical collections. His presentation will examine the form, function, and history of the structures.

The program will conclude with remarks from Terry Necciai, who will outline the criteria that define a rural historic district and discuss the possibility of designating one within East Brandywine Township. Together, the two presentations are designed to give residents a broader understanding of the township's agricultural heritage and the tools available to preserve it amid ongoing development across Chester County.

Paoli Attorney Sentenced in $1.6 Million Federal Coin Theft Case

PAOLI, PA — A former Paoli attorney was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to one day in prison, three years of supervised release, and more than $1.6 million in restitution after pleading guilty to stealing a valuable coin collection from a safe deposit box in Center City Philadelphia. Richard DiStefano, 66, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Savage following his guilty plea to bank larceny, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced.

Prosecutors said the thefts took place between July 2017 and February 2021 at a Wells Fargo branch on the 100 block of South Broad Street. The FBI began investigating in June 2024 and identified Mr. DiStefano as the last known person to have accessed the safe deposit box. When agents searched his Paoli residence in September 2024, he admitted to taking the coins and selling them through several auction houses over the course of multiple years. Investigators said the collection had been appraised at slightly more than $1.6 million.

Mr. DiStefano entered his guilty plea in September 2025 after being charged by information. The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jason Grenell and Ruth Mandelbaum.
