Your Dog Deserves Better Than Mystery Kibble

Most kibble is cooked at extreme temperatures that strip out the nutrients your dog actually needs. Your dog deserves better than that.

Spot & Tango's UnKibble is the only human-grade dog food that delivers all the benefits of fresh food without taking up fridge space. Made with USDA-grade meats, plus fresh fruits and vegetables, then gently dried at low temps to lock in up to 99% of nutrients. As vets say: "This is the food dogs were born to eat."

It's pantry-friendly, delivered to your door, and comes with a personalized scoop sized to your dog's exact needs. No guesswork, no prep, no refrigeration.

350,000+ dog parents have already made the switch — and 87% saw health improvements in their pup after switching.

Boot Road Bridge Project Hits Foundation Snag, but Timeline Holds

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Boot Road bridge replacement project in East Caln Township has run into an unexpected subsurface issue, according to a May 6 update from PennDOT District 6. While excavating the eastern abutment to its planned footing elevation, crews discovered that the bedrock the structure was designed to rest on was not present at the anticipated depth. Because the original plan called for spread footings anchored into rock, the foundation design must now be revised.

Engineers are reworking both abutments to incorporate micropiles — deep, drilled foundation elements often used when ground conditions prove weaker or less predictable than expected. The redesign is being coordinated among PennDOT, the contractor, and the project's designers, and final plans will require review by PennDOT's Central Office and by Amtrak, whose rail line runs beneath the bridge. Despite the engineering change, PennDOT said the project's completion timeline has not shifted.

Two Coatesville Men Convicted of First-Degree Murder in Botched Revenge Shooting

COATESVILLE, PA — A Chester County jury has convicted two Coatesville men of first-degree murder for their roles in a 2023 ambush that went badly wrong, killing one of their own co-conspirators rather than the intended target. Victor Lara-Ortiz and Zaire Harley, both 22, were found guilty on May 5 after a seven-day trial before Judge Alita Rovito, on charges that also included conspiracy, aggravated assault, and other related offenses.

According to prosecutors, the two men were part of a group that set out to shoot a rival, but the planned attack ended with gunfire striking and killing one of the participants. Under Pennsylvania law, every member of the conspiracy can be held responsible for the resulting death, even though the victim was not the intended target. A first-degree murder conviction carries a mandatory life sentence without parole, and formal sentencing for both men is expected in the weeks ahead. The convictions close out a sprawling investigation that began nearly three years ago and ultimately produced charges against six defendants, all of whom have now been convicted.
