AgConnect Launches New Stamp for County's Farm Guide Participants
WEST CHESTER, PA — AgConnect has introduced a certification stamp for Chester County farms and markets featured in its annual Farm Guide. The "As Seen in the Chester County Farm Guide" mark allows more than 125 participating agricultural businesses to display their inclusion in the directory across packaging, social media, and market displays. Officials say the initiative helps consumers identify verified local producers in a crowded marketplace. The program aims to strengthen connections between residents and the region's agricultural community while supporting the local food economy. Farms can apply for inclusion through the Chester County Economic Development Council.
West Chester Christmas Parade Recruiting Volunteers for December Event
WEST CHESTER, PA — The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is recruiting volunteers for the West Chester Christmas Parade on December 5, an event expected to draw 26,000 spectators. Parade marshals will help manage crowds along the eight-block route and assist with cleanup while receiving special hats and vests. Chester County Hospital sponsors the parade for the fifth year as part of a broader holiday initiative featuring downtown lighting and six weekends of seasonal activities. The evening begins with tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the parade at 7 p.m. Interested volunteers can register through the chamber's website.
