DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Chester County Commissioners have approved $5 million in Community Revitalization Program grants to fund 12 infrastructure projects in boroughs and the City of Coatesville. Downingtown will receive $300,000 to launch a comprehensive flood study, a critical first step in long-term flood mitigation. COATESVILLE, PA — Steven Donte Pittman of Coatesville is scheduled for a preliminary hearing this week as the final defendant in a violent robbery case dating back to December. Prosecutors allege Pittman and three others ambushed a man outside the Malibu Club Room, beating him and stealing thousands in cash and electronic transfers. The victim was found bloodied and pantsless by responding police. Two co-defendants, Brandon Norris and Daijon Redd, have already been held for trial. Pittman faces charges including attempted murder and kidnapping and is held on $1 million bail.
