Multiple Police Departments Respond to Large Fight at USTC, Up to 100 people Involved
DOWNINGTOWN, PA — On Sunday afternoon, West Bradford police responded to a significant disturbance at the United Sports Complex, following reports of a fight involving up to 100 people and potential firearm involvement. Emergency services were placed on hold until the scene was secured. Authorities later confirmed only one injury — a 33-year-old man with a lip wound — and no further threats or injuries. The incident's cause is still under investigation.
Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in Exton Retail Theft

EXTON, PA — West Whiteland Township Police released a surveillance image of a theft that occurred on May 11, 2025, at the Marshalls/HomeGoods store located at 436 West Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA. The are calling for community assistance in identifying the suspect involved. CTC Honors Youth for Creative Work on Mental Health and Drug Awareness

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Communities That Care of Greater Downingtown has announced winners of its fifth annual Prevention Youth Video Contest, which invited Downingtown Area School District students in grades 7–12 to create videos on topics including mental health, drug prevention, and student life. The first-place team, made up of three ninth graders and a senior, produced a video focused on the challenges teens face and the importance of adult support. Second place went to an eighth grader who examined how parental behavior shapes youth decisions about substance use. Winners received cash prizes and Phillies tickets, with videos featured on CTC’s YouTube channel. The contest aligns with local survey data showing the majority of teens in the area abstain from alcohol and marijuana, reinforcing CTC’s prevention messaging and community engagement goals.
Good Fellowship Ambulance to Upgrade Fleet with $453K in State Loans
WEST CHESTER, PA — The Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner has approved a $453,672 low-interest loan to support the purchase of three new ambulances for Good Fellowship Ambulance in West Chester. The funding comes from the state’s Fire and Emergency Medical Services Loan Program and will allow the organization to update its fleet with modern equipment. The vehicles—a 2023 Ford F-550, a 2024 Ford E-450, and a 2025 Ford E-450—will help improve emergency care delivery across Chester County. Good Fellowship Ambulance remains a cornerstone of the region’s health infrastructure, and the funding ensures continued readiness and service.
