WEST CHESTER, PA — Racquel Graham, 43, of Springfield, Delaware County, was found guilty of several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, for firing at a passing driver during an early morning encounter on a rural Chester County road. The jury rejected her claim of self-defense, noting a lack of evidence for the threats she described. The incident left the other motorist’s car totaled, though he was not injured. Graham, who cited prior harassment as the cause for her fear, awaits sentencing after being ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Games, Food, and Giving: Highland Orchards Hosts Fundraiser for Global and Local Charities

EXTON, PA — On April 27, a street race on Route 202 in Chester County resulted in a serious crash, injuring an uninvolved driver. Dashcam footage showed two vehicles speeding and weaving through traffic before one lost control and collided with another car. The victim, who was driving legally, sustained significant injuries and is recovering.

The driver of the red Subaru BRZ, identified as 35-year-old Donald Phillips, fled the scene. Police used license plate readers and surveillance footage to locate Phillips and his damaged vehicle. He faces multiple charges, including felony counts of fleeing the scene and reckless endangerment, with a potential prison sentence exceeding seven years.

The second driver involved has been identified, but charges are pending. In response to the rise in street racing, authorities are enhancing enforcement measures, including increased patrols and the use of technology to identify offenders.
