Dump Truck Plows Into East Goshen Tire Shop, Driver Hospitalized

WEST CHESTER, PA — A dump truck crash in East Goshen Township caused significant damage Wednesday afternoon when the vehicle veered off West Chester Pike, knocking down a telephone pole before plowing through multiple business properties and into a Firestone tire shop. The crash also destroyed a neighboring business sign. Emergency crews transported the driver to the hospital with minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Fly Tying 101: Warwick County Park Hosts Hands-On Workshop

POTTSTOWN, PA — On April 5, Warwick County Park will offer a hands-on introduction to fly tying, guided by Ranger Rhine. The workshop, designed for beginners, will teach participants about the tools and materials used in creating fishing flies, along with techniques essential for crafting effective patterns. Each attendee will have the opportunity to tie and take home multiple flies, gaining practical skills in a supportive environment.

PECO to Invest $1.8M in Caln and West Bradford Electric Upgrades

CALN TWP — PECO is launching a major infrastructure upgrade across Caln and West Bradford Townships to enhance the region’s electrical system. The investment, totaling nearly $1.8 million, will improve grid reliability, minimize storm-related outages, and support renewable energy sources such as solar and electric vehicles.

In Caln Township, a $1 million initiative will involve installing new underground electrical cables and conduits along N Bailey Rd, Sylvan Dr, Norma Dr, and surrounding areas. Similarly, an $837,000 project in West Bradford will focus on upgrades along Bright Glade Cir, Hollow Dr, Steeple Chase Rd, and nearby streets. Construction is expected to run from late March through July
