Sinkhole Disrupts Route 30 Bypass, Causing Major Delays

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — A sinkhole on Route 30 Bypass has led to lane closures in both directions between the Norwood Road overpass and Route 113, limiting traffic to one lane each way. The disruption is expected to cause delays through the night and into Monday morning’s rush hour. Crews are working to assess and repair the damage, but officials have not provided a timeline for full lane restoration. Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time or consider alternative routes to avoid congestion.
