Main Line Health Seeks Approval for New 145,000-Square-Foot Medical Center in Caln
CALN TWP — Caln Township officials announced it will hold a public hearing on March 10 to review a proposal by Main Line Health to develop a three-story, 145,000-square-foot medical center on a 14.5-acre property along Horseshoe Pike. The land, currently zoned for residential use, requires conditional use approval from the township.
Residents are invited to attend the hearing at the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company, where they can learn more and share their opinions. Township officials have made the development plans available for review and encourage those in need of accommodations to reach out in advance.
Pints For A Purpose: Housing Partnership Hosts Fundraiser

MALVERN, PA — The Housing Partnership of Chester County is inviting the community to an evening of drinks and philanthropy at Locust Lane Brewery on March 5. The event, running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offers an opportunity for supporters to gather in a relaxed setting while raising funds for a critical winter assistance program.
All cash tips collected throughout the night will directly support efforts to provide fuel assistance to local residents in need. Guest bartenders, to be announced closer to the event, will add to the festivities. Attendees can also enter a door prize drawing by dropping off a business card.
Organizers encourage RSVPs by February 26 and welcome attendees to bring a friend to raise a glass for a good cause.
Hibernia Park to Host Hands-On Land Navigation Training

COATESVILLE, PA — Chester County Parks & Preservation is inviting outdoor enthusiasts to a hands-on land navigation workshop on March 16 at Hibernia County Park. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., participants will explore the fundamentals of reading maps, identifying terrain features, and using a compass, all under the guidance of Ranger Goodeaux.
The program blends elements of orienteering and military land navigation, providing an engaging introduction for those eager to improve their directional skills. The session will also feature a small treasure hunt, allowing attendees to apply what they’ve learned in a fun and practical way. The event is open to ages 13 and up and will take place at Pavilion 6. Registration is required.
