DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Uwchlan township gave an update and reported work is moving forward on the bridge at Dowlin Forge Park, where crews have finished demolishing the aging bridge and begun constructing its replacement. Officials say progress has been steady, though weather conditions in the coming weeks could impact the timeline.

The township aims to have the new bridge open by spring, just as park visitors begin to take advantage of the warming temperatures. For now, trail users are encouraged to access the park through alternative entry points as work continues.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County has launched interactive court information kiosks at the Justice Center and two Magisterial District Courts, becoming the first county in Pennsylvania to introduce this AI-powered technology in a judicial setting. The kiosks provide a range of services, including access to court forms, directions within the Justice Center, fine and bail payments, and video links to community resources.

The technology, currently available in English with Spanish integration expected soon, aims to streamline visitor access to court information while improving efficiency. Kiosks are located in the Justice Center’s lobby, Court Administration Office, Family Court, and district courts in Kennett Square and Phoenixville. Plans are in place to install additional units at Chester County Library and Henrietta Hankin Branch Library. The initiative was funded through Chester County’s American Rescue Plan Act allocation,
